Title: ACCEPTANCE OF CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH CALIFORNIA HOME VISITING PROGRAM GRANT AWARD SUBJECT: Lassen County Public Health has been awarded $1,255,185 by the California Department of Public Health through the California Home Visiting Program Request for Applications. The funding will support implementation of the California Home Visiting Program, which provides evidence-based home visiting services to eligible individuals and families with young children to improve maternal and child health outcomes. FISCAL IMPACT: The grant funding in the amount of $1,255,185 for fiscal years 2026/2027 $418,395; 2027/2028 $418,395 and 2028/2029 $418,395 will be deposited into Public Health Fund/Budget Unit No. 110-0731. ACTION REQUESTED: 1) Approve the grant agreement with the California Department of Public Health; and 2) authorize the County Administrative Officer to execute the grant agreement.
