CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH FUTURE OF PUBLIC HEALTH FUNDING
SUBJECT: Lassen County Public Health requests approval to accept funding from the California Department of Public Health through the Future of Public Health allocation. These funds will support strengthening the public health infrastructure, workforce, and foundational public health capabilities to enhance the delivery of essential public health services to Lassen County residents.
FISCAL IMPACT: The funding received from the California Department of Public Health will be deposited into Public Health Fund/Budget Unit No. 110-0731 in the amount of $272,712.
ACTION REQUESTED: 1) Approve acceptance of the California Department of Public Health Future of Public Health funding; and 2) authorize the County Administrative Officer to execute all funding agreements, amendments, and related documents necessary to administer the funding; and 3) authorize the Director of Public Health to accept future annual California Department of Public Health Future of Public Health allocations, execute related agreements, amendments, and documents until June 30, 2029.
