Title: OPERATIONS SUBJECT: Training request for two (2) Correctional Deputies to attend the Basic Law Enforcement Academy at College of the Siskiyous from January 2, 2024, through June 14, 2024. FISCAL IMPACT: Approximately $15,346 from the Lassen County Sheriff's Office Patrol Fund/Budget Unit No. 130-0522. Based on the Training Reimbursement Program through the California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST), it is anticipated there will be reimbursement of approximately $7,275 upon successful completion of the academy by both correctional deputies. ACTION REQUESTED: Authorize the training expenditures for the law Enforcement Academy.
