DECLARATION OF PUBLIC NUISANCE
SUBJECT: Consideration by the Lassen County Board of Supervisors of a resolution declaring that the maintaining of Dyer’s Woad (an invasive noxious weed) within the unincorporated territory of Lassen County is a public nuisance and subject to the enforcement provisions of chapter 1.18 (public nuisances) of the Lassen County Code.
FISCAL IMPACT: None.
ACTION REQUESTED: 1) Receive report from the Agricultural Commissioner; and 2) conduct a public hearing; and 3) adopt a resolution declaring Dyer’s Woad a public nuisance; and/or 4) provide direction to staff.
