Title: CONTRACT FOR SERVICES FOR FINK FUNERAL HOME SUBJECT: The Lassen County Sheriff’s Office requests to enter into a contract with Fink Funeral, Inc. for removal and transportation of deceased persons from the scene of a death. FISCAL IMPACT: The cost per removal is $1,100. The contract will be from July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2027. The total cost of the contract will not exceed $200,000 for the term. This will be funded from Fund/Budget Unit No. 130-0522 to be budgeted for in the Fiscal Year 2025-2026 budget. ACTION REQUESTED: 1) Approve contract; and 2) authorize the County Administrative Officer and Sheriff to execute the contract for removal services with Fink Funeral, Inc.; and/or 3) provide direction to staff.
